What's the difference between cool & cold and hot & cold water coolers?

Cool & Cold water coolers dispense both cool and chilled water, making them ideal for workplaces that simply want refreshing drinking water available throughout the day. 

Hot & Cold water coolers dispense chilled water as well as hot water (approximately 82-92°C), making them ideal for workplaces where employees regularly enjoy tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or instant meals.

Both options are available across our Water Delivery, Fill-Your-Own, and Direct Connect ranges, so you can choose the setup that best suits your workplace. 
Which water cooler is best for small, medium, or large workplaces?

For different workplace sizes, consider these options:

Small Workplaces:

  • Bench-Top Water Coolers: Compact and ideal for limited space. Options include plumbed-in, fill-your-own, or water delivery.

Medium Workplaces:

  • Floor-Standing Water Coolers: Available in direct connect, fill-your-own, or water delivery. Suitable for moderate usage.

Large Workplaces:

  • Direct Connect Water Coolers: Ideal for larger teams, providing a continuous supply of filtered water without the need for bottle changes.
  • Water Fountains: Recommended for schools, gyms, sports facilities, and other high-traffic environments where large numbers of people need access to drinking water.

Do I need plumbing to install a workplace Water Cooler?

It depends on the type of water cooler you choose.

  • Fill-Your-Own and Water Delivery coolers do not require plumbing. They are freestanding units that simply plug into a standard power outlet.
  • Direct Connect water coolers do require plumbing, as they are professionally connected to your mains water supply to provide a continuous supply of filtered drinking water.

How many employees can a Just water cooler support?

The number of employees a water cooler can support depends on your team's water consumption, the type of cooler, and how many units you have. As a general guide:

  • Small teams (up to 10 employees): A benchtop or floorstanding cooler is often sufficient.
  • Medium teams (10-30 employees): A floorstanding cooler is typically a good fit.
  • Larger teams (30+ employees): Multiple coolers or a Direct Connect solution may be more suitable.

Many workplaces also choose to have multiple coolers throughout their sit. Capacity will depend on how often you refill your bottles (Fill-Your-Own) or delivery frequency (Water Delivery), while Direct Connect provides a continuous supply of filtered water without the need for bottles.
Can I add more water or change the delivery schedule?

Yes, workplaces can add to or change their delivery schedule as their needs change. Whether you need more water, fewer deliveries, or a different delivery frequency, our team can help adjust your service to suit your workplace requirements.
