Multi-Step Water Filteration Process

Initial Filtration
Removing Chlorine & Contaminants
Our carbon bed filter removes chlorine, bad tastes and odours while reducing a range of contaminants, including permanganates, ferrous iron salts, dichromates, silver salts, mercuric chloride and arsenates.

Sediment Removal
Filtering Out Dirt, Rust & Sediment
Our 1-micron filter cartridge removes sediment from the water.

UV Purification
Neutralising Bacteria & Viruses
The ultra-violet (UV) treatment* removes bacteria and viruses, using wavelengths of 240 - 280 nanometres, a highly effective agent for killing bacteria.

Microbial Protection
Capturing Remaining Harmful Particles
Our 0.35-micron filter cartridge removes any remaining bacteria or viruses, up to 99.9%, large particles as well as those that are very small such as microbes.
